Kidneys are considered to be one of the most crucial organs of the human body as it helps in filtration of waste products and removal of impurities that may be present in the blood. The symptoms are spread across a boundless extent. They differ in their severity varying from fatigue, difficulty in breathing, dry and scale skin, frequent urination which are early warning signs to nausea, fluid retention, decreased sex drive which directs towards kidney failure.
When faced with such symptoms it is important for the person to be aware about different tests that are used for diagnosis of kidney disease. Different tests focus on separate aspects of a healthy kidney. Some tests determine functioning of the kidney, clear images through CT scan helps in detecting tumors and by using tissue samples one can discover the type of disease.

Because of the nature of kidney diseases, they are not easily treatable and stay for life long after being detected. To treat them doctors prescribe medicines and other drugs in order to reduce blood cholesterol levels and help improve kidney health. But in cases where the kidney is unable to function at all, an artificial method to filter the blood is used known as Dialysis. This method does not cure kidney disease but does prolong one’s life. Apart from all this the major impact that can have on a healthy kidney is having a healthy lifestyle as well as change in diet.
